The Bucharest Ultimate Frisbee Festival for Hospice Casa Sperantei took place this weekend, and what a nice weekend it was!
A big thank you to AISB for being great hosts (their International day, meant that delightful food was at our fingertips throughout the day) and to Jake and Alice who did an extraordinary job bringing it all together.

Bucharest Ultimate International Frisbee Festival received unparalleled support from sponsors, allowing organizers to scrap the team fee of 200 euros.
With perks that include arrival pick-up service and host family accommodation, this tournament has become virtually free of charge for participating teams in South East Europe.

Skyd Magazine has a pretty neat article on how to pack for a tournament. You might find it useful if you are planning to attend our very own tournament 25-27 May.
And while you’re at it, you may stumble across the news that Skyd will cover Windmill Windup. Our players will attend this tournament by joining forces with several players from Soimii Patriei and with reinforcements from the foreign legion (aka maverick ultimate players from across the world). This is exciting because Romania will get some international coverage within the Ultimate world - and who knows what good may come of it?!

The Romanian National Team was selected for the largest Ultimate tournament on the old continent, Windmill Windup in June.
